Manning Cartell launched its Resort collection, Diaphanous, online and across the brand's eight stand-alone retail stores nationally, supported by a quintessential Australian campaign shot under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The collection launch coincided with Manning Cartell's Telstra Perth Fashion Festival show last night, showcasing the Diaphanous collection for consumers to shop off the runway.
Satin silhouettes in vibrant hues of saffron and ruby contrast with textured lace and military accents in a luxurious mix of layering, deconstruction and movement.
The Resort imagery was photographed on location shortly after Manning Cartell's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) show, drawing the iconic runway backdrop into the campaign in celebration of the Australian designer landscape.
''One of our core focuses is producing ethical Australian designed and made garments, so we felt it was important to acknowledge this as an underpinning theme for the Diaphanous collection," says Gabrielle Manning, one third of the design team behind Manning Cartell alongside sisters Cheryl and Vanessa Manning.
