Mystic Divine channels both the progressive energy of the time and the empowered, woke feminine spirit of the now.
Fall Spring 18 draws inspiration from the transformative age in fashion, music, and feminism that was London in the 1960s and ‘70s.
Think Pattie Boyd’s (imaginary) granddaughter raiding the depths of Boyd’s vintage wardrobe; from her 20-something London It Girl beginnings, her time as wife and muse to George Harrison
of The Beatles in the mid-late ‘60s, through to her fascination with the Maharishi, Indian mysticism, and transcendental meditation into the ‘70s.
Bold geometric prints, signature monochrome stripes and custom-designed paisley add graphic drama to the collection. In contrast, ‘70s-inspired feminine silhouettes are relaxed and effortless – wide-legged flares, handkerchief hemlines, soft flowing silk shirts and full bell sleeves.
This season, denim is eclectic like the era that inspired it – in terracotta and raspberry, high-rise, wide-legged, flared, embellished and patchwork. Gold medallion accoutrement in earrings and on coats reflects treasured cross-cultural curiosities discovered during Boyd’s travels.
