The Quarter Edit - Beauty Edition

What's Trending In Hair - Post Isolation. Read our exclusive Q & A with ME Manager Tom Ross

In this month’s The Quarter Edit, we’re celebrating the return of beauty.

As social distancing restrictions continue to ease, now is the time to make it all about… YOU.

When was the last time you coloured your hair, indulged in a blow dry, had your brows professionally shaped, enjoyed a massage or sat back for a pampering pedicure?

Claremont Quarter’s beauty services including face and body therapists, masseuse clinics and nail salons are delighted to welcome clients in need of a little “me time’.

ME by Maurice Meade has re-opened its beauty services as Phase Three of the easing of restrictions takes effect - and it is all about reinvigoration.

ME Manager Tom Ross says the restart has been invigorating for clients and his team.

“We continue to trade during the lock down period and we offered all the services we could and supported our clients,” Tom says. “We welcomed back former clients who returned to us when their salons closed and we met new clients who were relieved that we were open and trading,” Tom says.

“In a positive way, it was re-invigorating for us and our clients, old and new.”

WHAT’S TRENDING IN HAIR?

ME by Maurice Meade Manager Tom Ross says these post-isolation hair trends are gaining momentum:

  • Great Lengths Hair Extensions: Not only do these hair extensions offer length; they give volume to hair; giving hair an immediate, lush boost ideal for fine or thinning hair – and available in over 90 colours.
  • The Steam Pod: This hair straightener revolutionises hair straightening because it offers a continuous flow of high-pressure steam to the hair as it straightens – dramatically reducing damaging drying.
  • Pastels: Clients are looking for new, refreshed looks post-isolation and pastel tones are reflecting dreamy and relaxed moods.
